The South Carolina Department of Natural Resource (SCDN) is ramping up its efforts to monitor and manage Diamondback Terrapin Turtle.
According to SCDNR, Terrapin Turtles are a species of great conservation need, meaning their population is on a decline. It’s why they need help from people across the Lowcountry.
